Taking an Art Writing Break

Sorry about the radio silence recently, I’ve been taking a bit of a break from my art writing lately in order to focus on freelancing and a few shows, but hopefully I will be able to update Suzi Looks at Lots of Art occasionally when I do manage to trek out into the snow to make it to a gallery.

Just what have I been up to you ask?

I’ve been expanding my tutoring services – you can check out my Photo Coach profile over on Lernivore.

Here’s a quick summery of some upcoming shows I’m in:

30 Under 30 at Arsenal Center for the Arts. Closes February 20th.
Spotlight Six at Arsenal Center for the Arts. On view February 26th – April 10th.
Resting Bitch Face at Gang Greenough. Reception February 13th, 7-9pm.
Prompt at 13FOREST Gallery. On view February 27th – April 24th. Opening Reception February 27th, 7-9pm.

And if you’d like to know even more about what’s been going on, you can read my Newsletter – “Suzi Makes Lots of Art” over at Tiny Letter.

Sorry for being an absent blogger recently! I’ve been hard at work getting ready for a show that opens in a few weeks at the Howard Art Project!

Together with amazing co-artists Jodie Goodnough and Rosie Ranauro, we’re putting on a show called Performing Illness. It will be up at the Howard Art Project November 15 – 30 with a reception on the 21st, 6-9pm.

I promise I’ll be back to my regular blog updates as soon as we’ve got this show installed!
