I have the pleasure of being included in “State of Being” at the Piano Craft Gallery in the South End this month. I attended the opening reception on Friday and was very impressed with the caliber of work in the show. The exhibition, curated by Danielle Festa, is billed as “A Collection of Figurative and Portrait Art” and features paintings, drawings, sculptures, and photographs exploring the idea of the individual. The work ranges from the abstract to the specific, covering a wide amount of ground while still staying tightly curated.  Pictured below are a few of my favorites, but I invite you to stop by the gallery to check out this highly enjoyable show. The show is up until July 27.
